Tissue and cells
Strict regulations and controls ensure that the EEA standards are complied with when handling human tissues and cells. Anyone wishing to handle human tissues and cells in Liechtenstein (e.g. removal of blood stem cells, IVF) requires a license from the Office of Public Health. The Inspectorate of Swissmedic checks the requirements for a license on behalf of the Office of Public Health.
