Subsequent conversions

Only approved changes may be made to subsidized properties during the term of the loan. The maximum permissible area may not be exceeded by the addition/conversion. Subsequent structural changes are excluded from funding.

  • The application for the construction project must be submitted to the Office of Building and Regional Planning, Housing Subsidy Unit, before construction begins. Construction may not begin until the permit has been issued.
  • In addition, the Office for Building Construction and Spatial Planning, Housing Subsidies Staff Office, must be notified of the creation of wood and tool sheds and car parking spaces in the simplified procedure.
