Professional qualification
The specialist transport examination forms the basis for the professional aptitude to run a goods and passenger road transport company. The examination is organized and conducted by the Office of Economic Affairs in cooperation with the Examination Board and the Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce. The examination is generally held as required, usually every two years, but only if there is a sufficient number of candidates.
Foreign professional examinations are recognized if they are equivalent in content to the Liechtenstein professional examination. Specialist diplomas from EEA states based on the EU regulation are equivalent to the Liechtenstein specialist examination.
