Children, minors and people under guardianship
Children, minors and people under guardianship must be accompanied by their legal representative when applying for an identity card.
Identity cards are valid for five years for persons up to the age of 12, from the age of 12 they are valid for 10 years.
For children up to the age of 7, three crosses (xxx) are shown on the identity card instead of a signature.
