Accident reports

The insured person is obliged to report the accident event immediately to his employer or the insurance company. If the insured person or his or her survivors fail to report the accident in an inexcusable manner, the insurance company may reduce individual or all benefits by half or, in the case of deliberately false accident reporting, refuse to pay them altogether.

The insured person is not entitled to insurance benefits if the damage to health or death was caused intentionally. If the insured person has caused the accident by gross negligence, the cash benefits will be reduced or, in particularly serious cases (e.g. felonies, misdemeanors), denied.
