Office of Building Construction and Spatial Planning (AHR)
The Office of Building Construction and Spatial Planning (AHR) is the responsible point of contact for all those who wish to plan and build within the territory of the Principality of Liechtenstein. The AHR sees itself as a service provider in the fields of spatial and traffic planning, civil aviation, building law, fire protection as well as housing promotion.
In the course of fulfilling its tasks, the AHR is faced with the conflicting interests of public, economic and private interests as well as the interests regarding settlement development and landscape protection and the preservation of recreational and leisure areas. The AHR is organized into the following departments and staff units:
- Department of Building Code and Fire Protection
- Department of Land Use and Transportation Planning
- Legal Staff Office
- Housing Development/Central Services Staff Office
