Legal Unit (SSR)

The Legal Affairs Unit is responsible for all legal matters relating to the Commercial Register and Land Register departments, including land transactions. This includes the provision of legal information both internally and externally, the management of legally complex administrative procedures in the area of commercial registers, and the processing of incoming appeals.

In addition, the area of responsibility of the Legal Affairs Unit includes the implementation of ordinance and legislative projects in the areas of company law, commercial register law, property law, land transfer law and in the area of valuation, the associated preparation of draft ordinances and laws, as well as the implementation of EU directives on company law into national law.

In addition, employees of the Legal Affairs Unit are members of various national and international working groups.
