If you change your place of residence (move) within the country:

• Deregistration with the school management of the school previously attended
• Registration with the school management of the new municipality of residence or the new school district

If moving from abroad:

a) For German-speaking pupils:

• Kindergarten and elementary school: Registration with the school management of the municipality of residence
• Secondary school: contact the education authority regarding assignment to the appropriate school type

b) For foreign-language pupils:

• Registration at the school office

A valid residence permit is a prerequisite for admission to a Liechtenstein kindergarten or school.

If moving away from Liechtenstein:

• Deregistration with the school management of the school previously attended
