Living space standard
The size of a housing unit is determined by the number of persons living in the same household with the eligible tenant. A dwelling unit that meets the housing needs has a maximum of 3 ½ rooms for two persons and a maximum of one additional room for each additional person.
The standard of finish must conform to accepted building standards. Rent subsidies will not be paid to tenants of expensive or luxurious housing units that exceed the usual standard of finish or the average rental cost for equivalent rental space in the same area.
