Guiding principles

Integration is a concern for society as a whole, i.e. the entirety of all members of society - newcomers and natives alike - are the subject of the efforts.

Integration policy can only achieve depth and commitment if a conscious and careful approach to difference and diversity is guaranteed.

Integration goal

The goal of integration is a coexistence of all population groups characterized by mutual respect and tolerance. It is based on the rule of law and, in particular, its fundamental values.

Liechtenstein's integration policy is based on the principle of "promoting and demanding". Integration efforts start with the individual and are aimed at their personal well-being.
