Osteopath
Field of activity
The field of activity includes the manual treatment of the skeleton, vessels, muscles and internal organs to remove blockages and restrictions of the body systems as well as the preparation of osteopathic findings.
Professional aptitude/ further training
Anyone who has successfully passed the intercantonal examination for osteopathy in Switzerland or has completed a recognized bachelor's degree in osteopathy is qualified to practice the profession of osteopath.
Licensing procedure and requirements
In accordance with Art. 7 ff of the Health Act and Art. 57 to 59 of the Health Ordinance.
