In the field of Electronic Communications, Article 52 of the Electronic Communications Act (KomG) stipulates that measures taken by the regulatory authority which are likely to have a significant impact on the relevant market or specific user groups must be published in electronic form, unless this is contrary to overriding public or private interests.

With regard to transparency in the postal sector, Article 27(2) of the Postal Services and Parcel Delivery Services Act (PPG) stipulates that the regulatory authority shall, taking into account data protection provisions, publish information on decisions and orders of fundamental importance in an appropriate manner.

In accordance with these provisions, and on the basis of further provisions aimed at generally increasing the transparency of government action – in the case of the Office of Communications, in particular its regulatory activities – the decisions of the Office for Communications are published here electronically in an appropriate manner and in compliance with information and data protection legislation.
