Objection to the Use of the eGD (opt-out)
An objection will result in the irreversible deletion of all medical and genetic data already stored in your electronic health record. While your objection remains in effect, it will not be possible to upload any medical or genetic data to your electronic health record.
The objection remains valid for an unlimited period but may be withdrawn at any time upon request. Please note that any medical and genetic data deleted as a result of your objection cannot be restored, even if you later withdraw your objection.
You may submit an objection at any time and in various ways. In some cases, this is also referred to as an “opt-out”; both terms refer to the same process. Further details on how to proceed are provided below

You can exercise your right to object independently by accessing your electronic health record via the access portal. Instructions on how to access your electronic health record (eGD) and how to record your objection are available here.
