Passport
The passport is the ordinary proof of citizenship and identity for Liechtenstein nationals. It may be used as an identity document in Liechtenstein and abroad, unless other forms of identification are prescribed. The passport is valid for all countries, unless a restriction is entered.
In principle, every Liechtenstein citizen is entitled to a passport, provided there is no reason for refusal. Children, minors and persons under guardianship may only be issued a passport if the legal representative submits the application or agrees to the application in writing.
