Stalking

The term, taken from the English language, means obsessively following, harassing and threatening a person against their will. This means, for example: harassing and following, watching, lurking outside the home or workplace, a flood of calls or text messages, threats and disturbing messages, dangerous physical attacks.

Stalking is a criminal offense under Section 107a of the Criminal Code and can be punished with a prison sentence of up to one year. Protection against invasions of privacy is contained in Art. 277d of the Enforcement Code.
