Civil right of the child
If the parents are married to each other and the father is a Liechtenstein citizen, the child acquires Liechtenstein citizenship and the citizenship of the father.
If only the mother has Liechtenstein citizenship, the child acquires Liechtenstein citizenship and the citizenship of the mother.
Children born out of wedlock to Liechtenstein fathers also acquire Liechtenstein citizenship and the citizenship of the father.
The same applies to children of Liechtenstein mothers born out of wedlock. These also acquire Liechtenstein citizenship and the citizenship of the mother.
