The Office for the Environment exercises supervision over the quality status of watercourses.
Study programs
The monitoring of watercourses is carried out through various investigation programs. The physico-chemical, biological and morphological condition is determined at regular intervals.
Measuring stations
For the Liechtenstein inland canal, a measuring station exists in Ruggell.
The nearest measuring station of the Alpine Rhine is located in Diepoldsau (CH).
Level, discharge, as well as pH, water temperature and oxygen content of the water can be accessed online at the following sites.
