Electronically certified copy

The Government Chancellery may make an electronically certified copy of a document available in paper form (original document, certified copy). The document submitted may be no larger than DIN-A3 format. At the customer's request, individual pages of the document will be omitted from the electronically certified copy and a note will be made to that effect.

The electronically certified copy will be delivered to the customer electronically in the form of a signed PDF file or provided on a data carrier.

For the production, fees are charged in accordance with E-Government Ordinance and are payable in cash.

Electronically certified copies can be used as follows:

  • If an original document or a certified copy is to be presented to an authority in Liechtenstein, the electronically certified copy of the document in question may be presented instead.
  • In other business transactions, it is recommended to clarify in advance the acceptance of electronically certified copies.
