Office for Vocational Education and Career Counseling
The Office for Vocational Education and Career Counseling (Amt für Berufsbildung und Berufsberatung - ABB) is organizationally under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sports. All our actions are aimed at providing advice seekers through a targeted individual counseling an adapted basic and continuing vocational training.
In the area of Work, Study and Career Guidance, the ABB advises young people and adults individually on vocational, academic and career issues. In addition, the ABB manages the Vocational Information Center (BIZ).
In the field of vocational training, the ABB advises and accompanies learners and training companies in questions relating to basic vocational training
In the field of vocational mobility the ABB enables apprentices and professionals to gain work experience during an internship abroad, to experience foreign countries and cultures and, if necessary, to improve their foreign language skills.
