How is child and youth work promoted?

For state funding in the extracurricular area, a distinction is made between institutional, personal and project funding. This funding applies to both open and associative youth work.

Funding of institutions and associations

The Foundation Open Youth Work and recognized associations (e.g. Scouts and Scouts) usually receive annual contributions.

Personal sponsorship

Persons eligible for funding include:

Project Funding

Individual activities are also funded in the form of individual contributions according to the Children and Youth Funding Contribution Ordinance (KJFBV). These include:

  • Group animation
  • camp
  • International youth exchange and youth travel
  • Prevention activities
  • International events, meetings, conferences
  • Further education events
