Vocational training

The Office for Vocational Education and Career Counseling (ABB) is under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sports.

All our actions are aimed at enabling those seeking advice and learners to receive adapted basic and further vocational training through targeted individual advice.

In the area of career counseling, the ABB advises young people and adults individually on career, study, education and training issues. In addition, the ABB manages the career information center.

In the area of vocational training, the ABB advises and accompanies apprentices and training companies in questions relating to basic vocational training (apprenticeship).

In the area of professional mobility, the ABB enables apprentices and young professionals to gain professional experience during an internship abroad, to experience foreign countries and cultures, and, if necessary, to improve their foreign language skills.
