Sports events

Sports events can be funded if

there is a public interest in their organization;
a large proportion of the population can take part or they contribute to a positive public image of the country; and
the organizer itself contributes to their financing.

Applications for funding must be submitted to the Sports Department in writing, stating the reasons.
