Sports events
Sports events can be funded if
- there is a public interest in their organization;
- a large proportion of the population can take part or they contribute to a positive public image of the country; and
- the organizer itself contributes to their financing.
Applications for funding must be submitted to the Sports Department in writing, stating the reasons.
