Pollutant register
The publicly accessible Pollutant Release and Transfer Register provides information on releases of pollutants and transfers of waste from facilities and diffuse sources.
In the register, you can search for companies whose annual pollutant emissions are above a certain, internationally defined threshold. You can limit your search by operating criteria and by pollutants or waste treatment.
Legal basis
The legal basis for the register is Regulation (EC) No. 166/2006 of January 18, 2006 concerning the establishment of a European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register.
