Motorized private transport (MIV)

Transportation presents itself in many different forms. It is determined, among other things, by the means of transport used. One manifestation is the motorized individual traffic. It is defined by the personal use of cars or motorcycles. Here, the user can decide largely unrestricted about times and routes.

MIV is widely used today. Because of the mobility opportunities offered (routes and time), MIV occupies a broad space in the traffic scene.

The demand for volume management, but also the need to handle the traffic load efficiently, as well as in a manner that is compatible with the country and the environment, leads to a multi-layered spectrum of tasks. Downloads on annual traffic volumes can be found at Basics and Data
