Requirements for attending vocational secondary school

Whoever aspires to the vocational baccalaureate must be academically strong and willing to work harder. In addition to normal work in the company, one has 2 days of vocational school a week. An entrance examination in German, a second national language and mathematics decides on admission to a vocational school. Examination in a further subject is possible.

Ways to acquire the vocational baccalaureate

Accompanying apprenticeship: For three-year basic vocational training courses from the 1st year of training, for four-year basic vocational training courses from the 2nd year of training at the vocational secondary school (exception of some technical professions: also from the 1st year of training) Matura Navigator SG

In-service: After successful completion of vocational training, four semesters of preparatory course Fachhochschulreife (evening classes) at the Berufsmittelschule Liechtenstein, Vaduz.

Full-time classes: After successfully completing a vocational apprenticeship, two semesters of full-time preparatory classes, e.g. at the Berufsmittelschule Liechtenstein or at the Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum Buchs Sargans (bzbs.).
