Tasks

The preservation of historical monuments accompanies the repair and restoration of important cultural objects from the preliminary project to the execution of the construction measures. It works closely and in partnership with the municipalities, the offices of the national administration, the owners and architects, as well as other interested parties and experts.

Building monuments and archaeological sites are witnesses to our history. Their scientific research and responsible further development are part of the core business of integral monument preservation. The care of individual monuments as well as entire ensembles or sites are part of this task. The cultural landscape should be holistically preserved, maintained and expanded with high-quality new buildings in a future-oriented manner. We and future generations have a right to a livable environment.
