International Affairs thresholds

The international thresholds are defined in the announcement of thresholds for the award of public contracts and in the announcement of thresholds for the award of public contracts in the sectors.
Above these thresholds, public contracts are to be awarded by open or restricted procedure, depending on their appropriateness. Exceptional provisions for the permissible use of the negotiated procedure are regulated in Article 24 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement.
The International Affairs thresholds are generally different depending on the type of contracting authority, see announcements of thresholds.

Depending on their appropriateness,contracting authorities in the sectors award contracts by open procedure, restricted procedure, negotiated procedure, competitive dialog or as part of an innovation partnership(Art. 33 Para. 1 ÖAWSG).
