Definition
As infectious disease (syn.: contangious disease, communicable disease or contangious illness) is generally referred to all by pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa (single-celled organisms) or harmful prions (protein molecules) caused diseases in humans, animals or even plants.
