Re-issuing permanent residence and settlement permits

Legal basis:

  • Art. 26  and 28 of the Act on the Free Movement of Person (PFZG, LGBl. 2009 No. 348) apply to EEA and Swiss nationals

  • Art. 27 of the Act of Foreign Nationals (AuG, LGBl. 2008 No. 311) applies to non-EEA and non-Swiss nationals

Scope of application:

Persons who have held a C or D permit for at least 10 years and have not been abroad for more than three years (for a D permit) and five years (for a C permit)

Terms:

The application must be submitted completely and correctly to the Migration and Passport Office four weeks before the planned date of taking up residence in FL.
