National Budget

The Office of Finance prepares the draft national budget for the coming year in coordination with all offices. The estimate comprises the expenditure and income of the national accounts and is divided into the income statement and the investment statement

The draft budget for the following year is submitted by the government to Parliament as the holder of financial sovereignty.

The latter adopts the budget and sets it down in the Finance Act.
