Overview GDL provision (self-employed or with posted workers)

The right to access the Liechtenstein market with a cross-border provision of services (GDL) is in principle subject to authorization or notification, depending on the sector.

The licensing or notification requirements and further obligations are regulated in industry-specific laws or in the Trade Act.

The Office of National Economy is responsible for the enforcement of the following laws in the GDL area:

Trade Licensing Act (GewG)
Work Placement Act (AVG)
Construction Professions Act (BWBG)
Act on the trade of goods in moving

For other industries, there are reporting requirements to other offices or agencies.

GDL provision of architects, construction managers and engineers in the construction industry

GDL provision in the peddling and itinerant trades
