Acquisition of relatives
General information
A legitimate interest is not required if a property is acquired by a spouse, a registered partner, a blood relative in the ascending or descending line or up to the third degree of the collateral line, or an elective or foster child.
A legitimate interest, on the other hand, is required in the case of acquisition between all relatives from the fourth degree of the collateral line (great uncle, great aunt, cousin).
