Renting

Subsidized properties may be rented for a period of three years from completion or acquisition of the property. In this case, loan repayment begins in the year following disbursement of the subsidy funds.

In justified cases, the Office of Building and Regional Planning, Housing Subsidy Unit, may extend this rental period by a maximum of two years or approve arental at a later date for a limited period of time, provided that the total rental period shall not exceed five years. An unapproved lease, a foreign use or a vacancy (that lasts longer than one year), is subject to sanctions     immediate repayment associated.
