Postal and parcel delivery services

The Office for Communications (AK) is the regulatory, supervisory and administrative body for postal services and parcel delivery services. As such, it is responsible for enforcement and supervision pursuant to the Postal Services and Parcel Delivery Services Act.

As the competent regulatory authority, the Office for Communications promotes and monitors effective competition in the postal sector. To this end, it conducts market analyses within the scope of delegated market monitoring duties and also imposes measures and monitors their compliance.
