Scholarships / Loans

The state supports people in training with training grants in the form of scholarships and loans.

Training grants can be applied for online using an official application form, which is started via the training account. Important: In order for you to access the training account and for us to be able to offer you a secure service, you must clearly identify yourself. You will need an eID.li or lilog for this.

To the training account

The training account and electronic application offer you the following advantages:

Advantage 1: Data query via training account

• You can view the current status of your training account at any time.
• You can view all training and further education courses that are in progress or in repayment.
• The amounts of scholarships and loans paid out or granted are displayed.
• The balance of the student loan can be checked.
• The terms of repayment of the student loan with the corresponding annual installments are displayed. You always know when you will receive the next invoice for repayment

Advantage 2: Electronic application and correspondence

• The date of sending is the date of receipt. There is therefore no delay in submitting the application.
• Thanks to electronic submission, you no longer have to sign by hand and save time and costs for printing, enveloping and postal submission.
• The application form is pre-filled with the master data already stored with the state administration, e.g. name, address or date of birth.
• In the case of follow-up applications for current training courses, certain training data is also pre-filled.
• Data is transmitted via a secure channel.
• Once the application has been submitted, you will receive an electronic confirmation of receipt.
• Any queries or requests for additional information from the scholarship office will be handled unbureaucratically by e-mail.
