Children
Targeted preventive check-ups enable early medical intervention.
Every child living in Liechtenstein (with the exception of children with an L permit) receives written invitations for preventive check-ups from birth.
The costs are covered by the health insurance providers in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Focus areas of pediatric preventive check-ups
- Current state of health
- General physical development, body weight (BMI), and height
- Motor development
- Emotional and neurological development
- Vaccinations
Information leaflets with simple tips, such as the “Children’s Feet” leaflet or the “Dental Care” leaflet for child and adolescent dental care, can be downloaded.
