Children

Targeted preventive check-ups enable early medical measures to be taken. Every child resident in Liechtenstein (except children with an L permit) receives a written invitation to a preventive medical check-up from birth.

The costs are covered by the health insurance companies in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Focal points of the child check-up

  • current state of health
  • general physical development, body weight (BMI) and height
  • motor development
  • mental and neurological development
  • Vaccinations

Information sheets with simple tips, such as the "Children's feet information sheet" or the "Dental care information sheet" on child and adolescent dental care, are sent along with the age-appropriate screening invitation or can also be downloaded.

Where can I get a yellow examination folder for my child?
The yellow examination folder is automatically sent to you by the Office of Public Health after the birth of your child.
If the birth notification is received late, you can also order the folder from us.

Order by e-mail: belinda.thanei@llv.li, tel. no. 236 73 31 or using the order form
