School support measures

The school support measures aim to provide children and young people with and without special educational needs with the best possible support and encouragement in developing their individual potential. The entire support program covers a wide range of different measures and services:

  • special educational measures (BSM),
  • pedagogical-therapeutic measures (PTM),
  • socio-educational measures (SPM),
  • School psychological service (SPD) and
  • Support for gifted children (BF).

The support concept is based on the Ordinance on School Support Measures (SchulFMV) of 01.08.2020. Supported by the Liechtenstein Education Strategy2025plus and the basic values of the Liechtenstein curriculum LiLe, it also represents a further step towards inclusion. The document folder supplements the basic principles presented in the support concept with further concepts, practical instructions and templates.

The step-by-step model for dealing with challenging behavior offers teachers assistance with procedures and processes.

"Sichtwechsel" is a networking group of organizations that support people with disabilities.
It meets regularly and exchanges information.

The Learning Support Team (LST) strengthens teachers, school leaders, and school teams directly on site – fostering greater inclusion and effective teaching within the familiar classroom environment.
