Publicity of the land register
The land register is public. Anyone who can credibly demonstrate a legitimate interest may inspect certain sheets or request an extract. Information provided by telephone is provided without any guarantee as to its accuracy or completeness.
Any person is entitled to receive the following information even without such an interest:
- the name and description of the property,
- the name and identification of the owner or the owner,
- the form of ownership and the date of acquisition,
- the easements and encumbrances and the notes.
The fee for an extract from the land register is CHF 10.00, with postal understanding the fee is at least CHF 20.00.
