The EFTA Court, with its seat in Luxembourg, corresponds to the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ) for matters concerning the EEA/EFTA States (Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway). It is composed of one judge from each EEA/EFTA member state.

The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), based in Luxembourg, is the judicial body of the European Union and, in cooperation with the Courts of the Member States, watches over the uniform application and interpretation of Union law. It is composed of one judge from each EU member state.
