The exequatur
After admission has been granted the protocol office will contact the consulate to arrange the handing over of the exequatur.
The Chief of Protocol shall in a letter confirm the day, time and sequence to the consul.
The sequence for the handing over of the exequatur shall be as follows:
- The consul shall receive the exequatur from the Director of the Office for Foreign Affairs or his deputy. The meeting shall last twenty minutes.
- This shall be followed by a courtesy visit of twenty minutes to the Chief of Protocol.
