Migration and integration

Integration is a complex task that requires immigrants and locals alike. Integration involves many different players: government agencies and municipal administrations as well as private organizations and associations, but also companies from the private sector.

the study "Integration in Liechtenstein: socio-economic potential and areas of tension" was published in 2020. The study examined a large number of areas of life that are central to integration and provides an overview of integration in Liechtenstein.

The 2021 integration strategy was developed on the basis of this study, which in turn forms the basis for the respective annual planning. This can be downloaded below - also in plain language.
A very important finding of the study was that information in the area of integration does not always or not sufficiently reach those affected. The Ministry for Society has therefore created the information platform www.integration.li in cooperation with the Equal Opportunities Department. It is intended to help anyone who is new to Liechtenstein.

Projects, initiatives and events that promote integration can be financially supported by the Equal Opportunities Division.
