Every Liechtenstein employer is obliged to insure its employees against accidents (occupational and non-occupational) and occupational diseases.
Compulsory as well as voluntary insurance according to the Law on Compulsory Accident Insurance is carried out by the insurers registered in the register of insurers authorized in Liechtenstein to carry out compulsory accident insurance. The employer is free to choose among them.
