Pedagogy and school quality

The school inspectorate's responsibilities include the following:

• Leading and coordinating assigned school administrators
• Supervision of teaching staff (in particular, assessment of teaching in the context of classroom visits, performance dialogue, continuing education, job and lesson planning, with regard to salaries and budgets in collaboration with the Administration and Legal Department)
• Collaboration in hiring, professional introductions and dismissals (in collaboration with the Department of Administration and Legal)
• Collaboration with school administrators regarding supervision of teaching staff and hiring, induction, and dismissal of teaching staff
• Contributing to the design and implementation of pedagogical and/or organizational adaptations to educational policy objectives and evaluations
• To deal with problem cases that cannot be handled at the school level
• Supervision of instruction in private schools
• Participation in the general quality assurance and development of schools and the school system
