eDelivery (ePostPlus)

General

With the electronic delivery service ePostPlus, Liechtensteinische Post AG guarantees the Liechtenstein National Administration electronic delivery within the meaning of Art. 30b and 30c of the Service of Documents Act, LGBI 2008 No. 331.

The ePostPlus electronic delivery service is used for the secure exchange of documents via the Internet, the primary functions of which include secure delivery, guaranteed and verifiable transmission and the possibility of feedback on the delivery status to the sender.

With the electronic delivery service ePostPlus, Liechtensteinische Post AG fulfils the necessary technical and organizational requirements in this regard in accordance with Art. 3b of the Delivery Ordinance, LGBI 2008 No. 349.

According to Art. 5 of the E-GovG, the Liechtenstein National Administration is obliged to communicate electronically in the following cases:

  1. In business transactions between public authorities and between public authorities and companies, communication takes place electronically.
  2. Public authorities are obliged to communicate electronically with natural persons, provided they have consented to electronic communication. The provisions of the Service of Documents Act remain reserved.
  3. The government regulates the exceptions to the obligation to communicate electronically by ordinance.

Requirements

  • Valid eID.li of the natural person (and deputies of companies)
  • Activation of the company in the eRepresentation

Transmission types

There are two different digital consignment types:

  • Simple consignment (without confirmation of delivery and collection)
  • Official consignment (with delivery and collection confirmation)
