Legal acts

In the Office for Communications' areas of responsibility – i.e. the Electronic communication, Radio frequencies, Electronic signatures and trust services, Audiovisual media services, Postal services and the Space sector – the legal acts and provisions listed in "Rechtsgrundlagen" are of particular importance. The list of these legal provisions, which are available only in German, implementing acts and agreements, is not exhaustive and does not claim to be complete. It is merely a selection.

On the website www.gesetze.li, the legal portal of Liechtenstein, the entire applicable national law, i.e. all applicable laws, ordinances and other legal provisions, as well as the international treaties, can be viewed in a consolidated (edited) form and updated daily. “Consolidated” means that all amendments published in the National Law Gazette have been incorporated. The website offers online access to the current law collection, full-text search for laws and ordinances, and historical versions. It is also possible to download legal texts in PDF format.

While the Liechtenstein Law Gazette (Landesgesetzblatt, LGBl) is the official publication of new laws and amendments, www.gesetze.li serves as a practical, digital law collection for citizens, authorities and companies.

The titles of the applicable EU legislation for Liechtenstein and their reference in the Official Journal of the European Union in accordance with the decisions of the EEA Joint Committee published in the Liechtenstein Law Gazette are included in the EEA Register, which is regularly published by the EEA Coordination Unit.
