The field of activity includes the implementation of active and passive movement therapies

Professional aptitude/further training

The professional aptitude for practicing the profession of occupational therapist is possessed by those who:

a) can prove that they have completed at least three years of training at a recognized training institution for occupational therapy with a diploma or can present an equivalent certificate of competence and

b) provide evidence of two years of relevant practical experience in a hospital, an occupational therapy facility or with a freelance occupational therapist. Practical activities during training may be taken into account.

In accordance with Art. 7 ff of the Health Act and Art. 39 to 40 of the Health Ordinance.
