FIU sets out its priorities for the first time in a multi-year strategy
Priorities set out in the FIU Strategy 2026-2029
In our FIU Strategy, we define the overarching direction and key priorities for the period from 2026 to 2029.
Six strategic objectives
With our strategy, we set out the FIU’s key priorities and lay the foundations for the targeted and risk-based further development of our remit. The FIU Strategy serves as a guide for national stakeholders, international partners and staff, and increases transparency regarding our role and core tasks.
The strategy is based on six strategic objectives. The focus is on strengthening trust and transparency through active and targeted communication, the further development of the FIU as an effective analytical and enforcement authority, and close national and international networking. Further priorities include the targeted expansion of a modern digital infrastructure, a consistent risk-based approach with a focus on professional expertise, and a strong leadership culture and teamwork as the foundation for sustainable success.
With this strategy, we at the FIU reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding the integrity and reputation of Liechtenstein as a financial and business center in the long term, making a significant contribution to national and international security, and strengthening the trust of market participants, stakeholders and partner authorities.
