Recognition of accreditations of certification bodies

A casino that puts table games, slot machines or jackpot systems into operation submits a declaration of conformity to the Office of National Economy pursuant to Art. 72 SPBV, in which it confirms that the table games, slot machines and jackpot systems meet the gaming technology requirements.

The declaration of conformity on the slot machines and jackpot systems must be accompanied by a test report together with a separate certificate of conformity (certificate) from a testing body pursuant to Art. 26 para. 2.

The Office of National Economy recognizes test reports and certificates of conformity issued by a domestic or foreign body that

  • is accredited on the basis of the international standard EN ISO/IEC 17020 and 17025 specific to the scope of this Ordinance; or
  • at a foreign body that has an equivalent foreign accreditation and applies testing and conformity assessment procedures that meet the requirements set by the Office of National Economy (Art. 26 para. 2 SPBV).
  • Accreditations that comply with Art. 15 of the Law on Accreditation and Notification (LR 941.22) are considered equivalent foreign accreditations.
