Construction site wastewater
The Office for the Environment issues permits for groundwater retention, i.e. the pumping out and thus lowering of groundwater to drain the excavation pit and the discharge of the extracted water back into the groundwater or into a surface water body.
It is recommended that applications be discussed in advance with the Office for the Environment as early as possible.
