The 33rd edition of the renowned German Children's Media Festival Goldener Spatz took place in Gera and Erfurt in June 2025. This festival honours the best German-language audiovisual productions. Particularly exciting: the young jurors themselves decide which productions receive the coveted prizes!

The festival programme includes competitions in the areas of Film & Series and Interactive & Digital Storytelling and also offers a diverse supporting programme with numerous events.

The 34th edition of the German Children's Media Festival Goldener Spatz will take place from 7 to 13 June 2026 in Gera and Erfurt.
